Exit Policy
What to expect?
You will have a conversation with your mentor or the People team to inform them of your decision to leave. Leadership will connect with you to understand your decision better and explore if anything can be done to improve your situation this could include a sabbatical, a short informal break, or other interventions where applicable.
If your decision to leave is final, please send a formal resignation email to peopleteam@one2n.in.
After internal and client discussions, we arrive at a mutually acceptable relieving date. The notice period is 30 days during probation and 60 days post confirmation. The People team will communicate the relieving date to you over email.
The People team will initiate a separate email thread for your exit formalities, copying your personal email ID so you have all communication for future reference. Please ensure these formalities are completed in time for your full and final settlement to be processed.
Your last month’s salary is disbursed after the full and final settlement is completed. This typically takes 2 to 4 weeks from your relieving date, depending on how quickly assets are returned and exit formalities are completed.
If you leave without completing your notice period, the equivalent salary for the remaining notice period may be deducted from your full and final settlement.
The company reserves the right to ask you to serve your notice period from home without requiring you to come to the office or work actively.
If a salary revision is effective from the same month in which you resign, the revised salary will not apply for that month or the remaining notice period. Your full and final settlement will be calculated based on your previous salary structure. This is because an appraisal reflects your potential to contribute for the full year ahead. For example, if your salary revision was effective from 1st April and you resign in April, your April salary and any subsequent notice period salary will be calculated based on your March pay structure.
We will share an exit survey to understand your experience at One2N. Your honest feedback, positive or otherwise, helps us grow as an organisation.
Leave Policy during Notice Period
Pre-approved leaves will be respected during the notice period. However, if a leave is likely to impact your handover, the People team may need to revisit the approval.
During the last month of the notice period, all leaves other than weekly offs and declared holidays are considered unpaid, except in special circumstances such as a family emergency. No new leaves accrue during this period.
Return of Assets
You are responsible for returning all assets issued to you, such as your laptop, monitor, adapters, etc., within 10 working days of your relieving date.
If you are based in Pune, please coordinate with the People team to hand over your assets to the admin team at the Pune office.
If you are based outside Pune, please ship your assets via a reliable courier service. Since remote work outside Pune is by personal choice, the shipping cost is to be borne by you. Share the tracking details and any relevant passwords with the admin team over email.
If you wish to buy back an asset such as a monitor, this is available on a case to case basis. Let the admin team know during your notice period. If approved, the buyback amount will be deducted from your full and final settlement.
Please ensure assets are packed carefully and shipped via a trackable courier service. Any damage or loss during transit is the employee’s responsibility. If you need guidance on packaging, reach out to the admin team.
Once assets are received, the admin team will verify their condition. If any damage beyond expected wear and tear is found, the repair or replacement cost as assessed by the admin team will be deducted from your full and final settlement.
Full and Final settlement (FnF):
The full and final settlement process begins after your relieving date and is generally completed within 10 to 15 business days, provided all assets are returned and exit formalities are completed in time.
The settlement will include leave encashment of up to 12 earned leave days, reimbursements, and tax deductions as applicable.
Your last salary slip, full and final settlement details, and relieving letter will be shared over email after your final salary is disbursed.
Action items for you
